This Hoist System is designed using a 2:1 pulling Ratio of loads up to 250# . as you pull up on the item the ratchet system locks it in place , no need to tie off. To lower just pull on the Rope pull release . The unit is compact and only weights 1.5# and comes with 15' of braided nylon rope.
